S Orchestral Prog Avant Metal

"This is a really worthy successor to the Beyond Twilight albums. Really heavy, but there are so many sophisticated parts intertwined with the metal riffs, so much to discover after repeated listens. Everything is top-notch here, but it is really the inspired songwriting which elevates this to masterpiece status."

Tracks

1.

"What an opener! I love how the track alternates between a heavy, chugging theme and a majestic, calm hymn-like motif."

2.
S Aggrezzor 6:04

"Cool how after two thirds of the time the track shifts into a different, happier theme, only to then fall back into the "aggression" riff."

3.
4.
5.

"Starts out as thrash-infested doom, ends in a glorious hymn - only to bring back the major/minor theme. Really cool."

S No Chorus 5:38

S Rainheart 7:12

S Water 8:32

"This is as close to Progressive Blues as it will ever get. At least for a minute or two, then we suddenly find ourselves in a very experimental interlude with tribal singing and drumming, only to be followed by neoclassical arpeggios by piano and guitar. Well done!"

S Whispers 8:10
